P.E. PREMIUM FUNDING
For the financial year April 2016 – 2017 the school has received £8,308.
In the Summer term 2016 the funding was used to employ an NPETCS qualified HLTA to deliver the P.E. curriculum. For the Autumn and Spring terms the P.E. curriculum is being delivered by sports coaches while the school trains another member of staff to the NPETCS qualification.
The money has also been used to ensure we can transport our pupils to take part in cluster and local sporting events. In the Summer term 2016 our pupils won the Year 5/6 rounders tournament for the cluster, as well as participation in cricket, tchoukball, netball and basketball tournaments amongst others.
We have been able to offer our pupils after school clubs free of charge with regular attendance of 15 or more pupils.

Well done to the boys’ football team. You worked extremely hard, supported each other and were up against strong teams. You all used skills you have been taught by attending the after school football club and the new kit looked great too!
